Xbox & Bethesda Games held their showcase online and many were happy about it.
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 was held and, as promised, Microsoft’s “faux-E3 2022” event delivered almost nonstop gaming news and trailers. At the event, we saw a large number of titles that are expected to be released in 2022, despite some of the heavy hitters being released in 2023.
The star of the show was, of course, the recently delayed Starfield. Rather than seeing more concept art or small gameplay hints, we were given a full-blown trailer that demonstrated the game’s mechanics. One of Bethesda’s upcoming games, Redfall, received a new trailer. Several of the game’s characters were shown off in this more lore-focused trailer.
Another major reveal was Diablo 4, especially in light of the disappointment with Diablo Immortal that many people experienced. As far as mainstream entries go, this one appears to deliver on all expectations.
In other big news, Blizzard announced Overwatch 2. However, it was nice to see some new characters being introduced in the upcoming game. Microsoft’s Forza Motorsport is another game worth mentioning. The company says it will be the most technologically advanced game in the series so far.
Games such as Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, and Sea of Thieves received new content. As if that wasn’t enough, Grounded will be released as a full-fledged game in September. You can watch the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase stream below:
