Wiz Khalifa Asking Other Rappers For Change This Coming Year

Wiz Khalifa express his concerns with the recent violence.

Wiz Khalifa has been in the game for quite some time, and at this point in his career, it’s fair to say that he’s a rap veteran in his own right. The Pittsburgh native has experienced a lot in his professional life, including the dark side, as seen by the recent deaths of his rap colleagues.

Wiz Khalifa took to Twitter on Sunday (December 19) to give his fellow rappers some words of wisdom as they ushered in the new year. According to Wiz, performers must be more strategic in their movements and be available for one another.

These thoughts come only a few days after Drakeo the Ruler was stabbed and eventually died from his injuries while performing at the Once Upon a Time in LA festival in Los Angeles, California, over the weekend. Slim 400, a YG associate who was shot and died in Los Angeles the week before, and Young Dolph, who was slain down in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, only a few weeks ago, were also victims of gun violence.

And although Wiz may not have been addressing other rappers directly in his tweets, there is one who seems to be defying what he was teaching in his tweets. Blac Youngsta played at a club in Dallas on Friday (December 17), but the event didn’t appear to be a hit with the crowd, who left early.
