Travis Scott Releasing New Music Today

Travis Scott is on a roll with his relases.

Travis Scott supporters are going to be on a high this week. The Houston rapper has revealed that he will release new songs tonight, just in time for his Astroworld Festival performance. He posted the black-and-white artwork, which depicted a Bat Boy version of himself on the cover of a tabloid magazine, to his social media accounts.
It is unclear if Travis is referring to a single song or a compilation of songs when he tweeted, “SOME NEW MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT.” AHAHAHHSBDBDDKRKRHEB.”

It was originally rumoured that he was intending to release a mixtape titled Dystopia before releasing his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Utopia, which is due out in September. Several critics have linked the project to Travis’ 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo, which was released ahead of the release of his first album Rodeo in 2015. In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Travis alluded to the dystopian idea of the novel.

His comments to the magazine were as follows: “You believe paradise is a society where everything is good: health, buildings, architecture–nah.” “It’s simply a matter of having effective channels of communication.” Because that is the nightmarish quagmire in which we are now trapped. It’s all hatred, hate, and more hate, and where does all of that come from? Communication problems include “miscommunication, noncommunication, ununderstandable communication, and a general lack of understanding of communication.”

In celebration of the festival’s 10th anniversary, SZA, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Young Thug, Master P, 21 Savage, and more artists will perform this weekend in Houston. Live streaming of Travis’ headline concert will begin at 10 p.m. ET on Friday and will continue throughout the weekend on Apple Music.
