The Dark Side Of Fame For Some Celebrities “Stalkers”

Stalkers have become more daring and it’s scary.

There is a dark side to fame and celebrity. Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and Sandra Bullock are just a few who have had to deal with stalkers. This is, unfortunately, not a new development. Since Rebecca Schaeffer’s murder in 1989, law enforcement has made efforts to ensure the safety of Hollywood’s elite.

Stalkers

The “My Sister Sam” actress was just 21 when she was murdered by a stalker who had been pursuing her for years. Robert John Bardo was eventually convicted of capital murder and condemned to life in prison without the possibility of release. After Schaeffer’s murder, the state of California established the first police unit in the United States devoted only to investigating stalkers crimes.

After that, in 1994, the state would enact the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act, which forbids the DMV from disclosing residents’ addresses. But despite the reforms, many stars are still being targeted by stalkers.

Britney Spears

Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, was arrested in early June after he made an unsuccessful attempt to disrupt the pop star’s wedding. Alexander showed up at Spears’ house a few hours before the ceremony. He started a webcast while he strolled on the site.

When security ordered him to leave, things got violent.

Stalkers

Spears and Alexander tied the knot on January 3, 2004, but their 55-hour marriage was quickly declared null and void. Both Spears and Alexander had just turned 22 years old.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande’s stalker gave her an unpleasant birthday present last month. According to TMZ, the pop diva had a restraining order against him, and on her 29th birthday, he broke into her Montecito house.

Police nabbed Grande despite the fact that he was not there at the time of the break-in. According to reports, he faces charges of stalking, burglary, destruction of electrical lines, disobedience of a court order, and obstruction.

In September, he was jailed for threatening to kill her with a knife when he showed up at her house. He allegedly said, “I’ll f—-ing murder you and her!”

Justin Bieber

Multiple people have stalked Justin Bieber, including a guy and his nephew from New Mexico who planned to kill and castrate him in 2013.

A guy in prison conceived of the scheme after his attempts to contact Bieber went unanswered. According to accounts, he plotted to murder the “Love Yourself” singer by having his nephew and another guy drive to the singer’s home and castrate him with pruning shears.

Stalkers are real and will hurt you if they believe you offended them in any way.

Sandra Bullock

A guy who had been chasing Sandra Bullock for days broke into her house in 2014, and the actress hid in a closet.

Stalkers

Bullock said of the night in question, “that was the one night that Louis wasn’t with me,” referring to her then-4-year-old son.

“It was the one night our babysitter said, ‘Let me just take him to my apartment, which is up the block because you’re going to be out late.'”

The guy committed suicide in 2018 after a confrontation with police at his residence.

Horrifyingly, this is the reality for some celebs. When will this madness end? Should there be more penalties for stalkers?
