Tdott Woo, King Of NYC Drill Dance Dies After Being Shot


Tdott Woo was a big part of NYC drill dance.

The horrific gun violence that was observed in the rap scene last year is expected to continue, following the shooting of rapper Nas Blixky’s then 24 hours earlier, Tdott Woo, a fellow Brooklyn native, was apparently killed in a shooting at his home.

Just hours before, Tdott – the inventor of the Woo Walk — had celebrated his signing with Million Dollar Music Record Label.

A post on MDM’s Instagram Stories welcomed Tdott to the label as an official artist of the company, with the caption, “Love to welcome @tdott woo to the label as an official artist of MDM and the adventure starts.”

Reports In Canarsie, near the junction of East 98th Street and Avenue L, on Tuesday afternoon, the 22-year-old rapper was shot and taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he died shortly after.

In a tweet, Tdott Woo’s manager voiced his amazement by posting a clip of Fivio Foreign’s August 2019 video “Big Drip,” in which he attributed Tdott as being the inspiration for the video’s success. Since its publication, the video has received more than 72 million views on YouTube.
