Slim 400

Slim 400 was shot and killed in Inglewood, California, on Wednesday night. What prompted the shooting and how many people were involved is still out in the air at this time.

Slim was born in Germany to military parents and migrated back to Los Angeles as a youngster, where he grew up in the Compton neighborhood. Later, the rapper was found and signed by the now-defunct Pu$haz Ink music company, which was also responsible for the success of YG and DJ Mustard, among others.

Slim came dangerously close to death in the summer of 2019 when he was shot nine times in Los Angeles. During the incident, Slim claimed that he was attacked while visiting relatives in Compton, California.

Slim was signed to Empire. A label that has been having a ton of bad luck with their artist dying lately such as Young Dolph, Mo3, King Von, and XXXTentacion.

Slim 400 was just 33.
