Serena Williams Retiring From Tennis After The US Open


Serena Williams has put many years into tennis and wants to focus on her family as she should.

Tennis legend Serena Williams said on Tuesday that she will retire after the 2022 US Open, which takes place at the end of August.

Serena Williams announced her retirement from tennis in the September issue of Vogue, and she plans to do so within the next several weeks. Grand Slam winner and 40-year-old Novak Djokovic remarked, “It’s the toughest thing that I could possibly fathom.”

The former No. 1 women’s tennis player stated, “I’ve been reluctant to realize that I had to move on from playing tennis.” “It’s almost as if it’s a forbidden subject. As soon as it comes up, I start crying. My therapist is the only person I’ve been there with.
