Scarface Officially Retiring After Farewell Tour

The Scarface tour is set to take place this summer.

Scarface is ready to retire after nearly 40 years in the business. The Houston rap legend launched the Farewell Tour on Tuesday (May 17), a 32-city farewell that will be the final time before putting away his mic.

The tour begins on July 8 in Oakland, California, and ends on August 27 in Odessa, Texas, with stops in Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington, D.C., New York, and Dallas. On August 6, ‘Face will perform at LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Festival, marking the 20th anniversary of his critically acclaimed 2002 album The Fix.

Scarface will be accompanied on the road by his band, The Geto Boys, who will help bring legendary tunes like “My Block,” “Guess Who’s Back,” and the Geto Boys “Mind Playing Tricks on Me” to life for the last time. Fans who sign up for his special VIP meet and greet will have the opportunity to mingle with ‘Face and take photos with him before the event, as well as receive a limited edition “Face Mob” commemorative baseball jersey.

He will also make an appearance at LL Cool J’s “Rock The Bells” festival this summer while on tour.
