Rich The Kid Signs To RCA and Releases New Music

Rich The Kid even releases a new music video for his release “Motion”.

Atlanta rapper Rich the Kid has signed a deal with RCA. The rapper celebrated by releasing a new song called “Motion” along with a music video that is now streaming on various platforms. Being signed to RCA is a privilege and also a place for me to grow and succeed for a very long time, Rich said. Doja Cat, SZA, Steve Lacy, Khalid, and Pink are among the artists who are signed to the label.

Previously, Rich had contracts with Interscope, Republic, 300, Quality Control, Rostrum, and BMG. His first studio album, “The World Is Yours,” was published in 2018 through Interscope, followed by “The World Is Yours 2” in 2019, and his third album, “Boss Man,” was released through Republic in 2020. The rapper also runs Rich Forever Music, a record label he founded in 2016 and which has housed artists like Famous Dex, J $tash, and Jay Critch. Since then, a number of mixtapes and compilation albums have been published, containing music from every artist on the label.

Rich the Kid has worked with musicians such as Young Thug, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Rick Ross, and more during the course of his career, which began in 2013 when he released his first mixtape titled “Been About the Benjamins.” Additionally, he has a number of collaborative ventures, including “Trust Fund Babies” with Lil Wayne in 2021 and “Nobody Safe” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again in 2020. Rich collaborated closely with the Atlanta group Migos for a run of mixtapes named “Streets On Lock” prior to being signed to a record company. From 2013 until 2015, four further sequels followed.

The 30-year-old rapper has already achieved success with previous songs including “New Freezer,” a Kendrick Lamar duet that served as the lead-up single to his 2018 debut album “The World Is Yours” and was certified platinum just three days before the album’s release. Rich’s highest-charting song to date, “Plug Walk,” another single from the same album, peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100.
