Virginia Giuffre’s 2019 X Post “I’m Not Suicidal” Resurfaces After Her Death

An old post by Virginia Giuffre declaring she was “in no way, shape or form… suicidal” has gone viral following reports that the Epstein survivor died by suicide at her farm in Neergabby, Western Australia, on April 25. Her family confirmed she took her own life, stressing no foul play is suspected.
In the chilling 2019 message on X, Giuffre wrote, “I have made this known to my therapist and GP — if something happens to me — in the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me quiteted.”
Giuffre, 41, emerged as a key figure in exposing Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring, alleging she was groomed as a teenager and trafficked to powerful men, including Britain’s Prince Andrew. She founded the nonprofit SOAR in 2015 to support fellow survivors and in 2022 secured a settlement from Prince Andrew, who denied wrongdoing.

Her family’s statement described her as “a fierce warrior” whose “light lifted so many survivors,” and noted that the weight of lifelong abuse became “unbearable.” Western Australia police responded to an emergency call at her property around 9:50 pm local time but found no evidence of suspicious circumstances.
The resurfacing of Giuffre’s warning post has intensified calls for enhanced protections and mental-health support for abuse survivors, underscoring how her advocacy and tragic end continue to shine a light on the enduring impact of trauma.
