500 households in his hometown of Baton Rouge will receive a turkey for Thanksgiving thanks to NBA YoungBoy. According to local news source WBRZ, the rapper collaborated with the NAACP on Monday (November 22) to offer 500 free turkeys and a free Thanksgiving meal at Boil & Roux in Baton Rouge.
Later that night, YoungBoy posted a PSA on his Instagram in the same upbeat vein, pleading with people to “stop the violence.”
NBA Youngboy has been on a positive vibe mood lately, with his influence on our youth and the way this world is moving it’s great to see someone of his stature try to make a change. In the rap industry, there is a certain persona that rappers always have to be gangsta, and with the recent uprise in gun violence within the music industry lately such as the murders of Takeoff, and PNB Rock we need a real change.
