Migos Fans Upset As Group Pulls Out Of NY Governors Ball Festival

Rumors have been circulating that Migos might have broken up.

This morning, Migos fans woke up to the news that the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City had decided to cancel their appearance at the event.

The festival quickly tweeted out that Lil Wayne would replace the group, which is a solid replacement but did little to allay fans’ fears of a rift among the “Bad & Boujee” three-piece.

Fans noticed that Offset and his wife Cardi B had unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff on social media, which sparked rumors of a feud between the three rappers. Unc and Phew then came out with a new song called “Hotel Lobby,” which sparked more rumors that they were breaking up.

After Culture III in 2021, the group’s last album as a unit debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with guest appearances from the late Pop Smoke and Juice WRLD.

J. Cole and Kid Cudi will headline the 2022 Governors Ball in New York, which will take place between June 10 and June 12. On the bill are also: Roddy Ricch, Playboi Carti, YG, Kaytranada, Denzel Curry, Ken Car$on, JID, Skepta, Jazmine Sullivan, YG, Jack Harlow, Coi Leray, and YG.
