Lil Wayne reportedly drew an assault weapon on one of his own bodyguards during an argument at his residence, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the incident.
One of Wayne’s bodyguards reported to police that he and the rapper got into a dispute inside Weezy’s Hidden Hills, CA home, and police said they were informed the disagreement escalated to physical violence and the brandishing of a pistol during the confrontation.
Apparently, the guard alleges that after the first fight, Wayne instructed him to get out of the home, but the guard claims he went to the restroom first, and that’s when Wayne severely inflamed the situation.
According to the guard, who said Lil Wayne took out an AR-15 and that’s when the guard booked it out of the home and to the gated community’s guard shack, where he phoned the police. Lil Wayne has not commented on the incident.
Cops proceeded to Weezy’s house to collect his side of the tale, but he had already left when they arrived. Police were called when a guard said that Wayne confronted him and accused him of taking images and distributing them to the media. Cops are skeptical of the guard’s account, and they claim he did not have any marks or bruises on his body as a result of the supposed physical altercation with the officers.
The guard also does not want to bring charges against Wayne, and although police have some reservations about some of the claims, they will nevertheless conduct an investigation.
