UPDATE: Lil Tjay is out of surgery but is in critical condition. It’s being said his lungs clasped twice, after being shot in front of his hotel in New Jersey. He is expected to stay in the hospital for some time as he recovers.
Rapper Lil Tjay was shot and is currently in surgery.
According to law enforcement, Lil Tjay was shot at around midnight in Edgewater, New Jersey. We’ve been told that the rapper is currently undergoing surgery. The nature and severity of his injuries are unknown at this time.
A Chipotle restaurant and an Exxon station nearby were reportedly both hit by gunfire. Both the Chipotle and Exxon victims were shot multiple times, but the Exxon victim was shot only once.
The second victim’s identity remains unknown at this time. The police are actively searching for the suspects. The reason has not yet been determined. Until now, there has been no word on Tjay’s prognosis.
