Dj Kay Slay, a graffiti artist, DJ, producer, and radio host in New York City died at the age of 55 after a long battle with COVID.

The family of the legendary entertainer confirmed his death over the weekend in a statement released through HOT97, where he worked.

For nearly four decades, Kay Slay, born Keith Grayson, was a vital element of the city’s musical and creative culture. He collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, such as Nas and Busta Rhymes.

He had been sick with COVID since late last year and was rehabilitating in a hospital before passing away. There hasn’t been any more news about his condition as of now.
