JayDaYoungan Shot And Killed In Louisiana

JayDaYoungan was not too long ago released from jail on gun charges.

Shots were fired at the Louisiana home of rapper JayDaYoungan on Wednesday night, resulting in his death.

It has been verified by the Bogalusa Police Department that the 24-year-old artist Kenyatta Scott Jr., known for his singles “23 Island” and “Elimination,” was shot together with his father, Kenyatta Scott Sr.

Before 6 o’clock that evening, a gunman opened fire on the rapper, whose given name is Javorius Tykies Scott; he was taken in serious condition to a nearby hospital. The cops said JayDaYoungan passed away just before midnight. The relative of the rapper is now doing OK.

There is a lot of uncertainty right now. “Our officers are working tirelessly to identify the subjects responsible for these offenses,” the police added.

According to the police, another shooting took place around 30 minutes after the rapper. A probable relationship between the shootings was mentioned by officials.

In 2017, the rap artist signed with Atlantic Records. His bio on Pandora states that his hits “Spinning” and “Taking Off” propelled him to fame.

In the course of his career, he worked with such notable musicians as Lil Durk, Lato, and Moneybagg Yo. In June of 2021, he unveiled his first full-length effort titled 23 Is Back. His debut studio album, Baby23, and his mixtape, Forever23, both reached the Billboard 200.

He amassed over 1.2 million YouTube subscribers and a staggering 2.7 million Instagram followers.

A month after his release from prison on weapons charges, he is shot and killed. Rest In Peace JayDaYoungan.
