Drake was not home at the time.
This past week, a guy was detained when he trespassed onto Drake’s new house in the Beverly Hills area and falsely claimed to be the rapper’s son.
On Friday, July 15, an employee at the 6 God’s mansion reported seeing a suspicious person near the pool house, prompting management to alert the police the following Tuesday, July 19. After being questioned by LAPD, the intruder, a 23-year-old man, said that the rapper is his father and that he was only waiting for him to get home.
However, the police did not believe him and arrested him for the minor offense of trespassing. Drake was thankfully not home at the time, thus the intruder was unable to gain entry to his residence.
The OVO singer reportedly paid $70 million for the mansion in the exclusive Beverly Crest area. The home features 10 bedrooms. Robbie Williams, a British pop artist, formerly owned it.
Drake is no rookie when it comes to break-ins. In 2017, his Hidden Hills mansion was broken into by a so-called “super stalker,” who made off with many goods, including bottles of water and soda. She was wearing one of his sweatshirts when she was detained, and she said she was allowed to be there.
In an attempt to breach Drake’s Toronto “Embassy” house in March, a knife-wielding woman was apprehended after she struck a security guard with a metal pipe.
