Gen Hoshino Taking Over Epic’s Soundwave Series


Soundwave Series will air on June 9th.

Beginning June 9, Gen Hoshino will take over the Soundwave series in Fortnite. The closing theme for the anime ‘Spy x Family,’ which incorporates his current song, “Kigeki,” has already given anime fans a taste of his skills. Emicida, a Brazilian rapper, was the most recent musician to feature in the Soundwave Series.

Want to see the Japanese pop singer perform in Fortnite? Those who only want to watch the concert can do so with ease thanks to Epic Games. After downloading Fortnite, enter Island code 6831-7094-7130 to enter the show, which will begin on June 9, 2022, at 8 a.m. ET. The show will air back-to-back for 72 hours on the island, allowing you to tune in and see it

Players can even watch the show in Picture-in-Picture mode while engaging in other Fortnite activities. His iconic Koi track and the Koi Dance Emote are also included in the interactive Soundwave series performance. The dancing emotes, however, will only be available within the experience; it will not be offered as a DLC emote. The creation team 3D Lab-created Gen Hoshino’s interactive experience.

The follow-up on the Soundwave Series will be Aya Nakamura, a French-Mali singer, who will be the next to perform on the virtual stage. Fortnite is a free game that can be downloaded on a variety of platforms. PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC are among them.
