FBG Duck Murder Investigation Has Taking A Turn With The Arrest Of Five Suspects


FBG Duck was a popular Chicago rapper.

FBG Duck was shot and killed on August 4, 2020, as he walked through the wealthy streets of Chicago’s Gold Coast district, according to police. In the drive-by shooting, which occurred at 4:30 p.m. local time,  According to authorities, four individuals jumped out of two separate cars and started firing at the rapper.

Five individuals were arrested for the murder of Chicago rapper FBG Duck, The suspects were identified as Charles “C-Murda” Liggins, Kenneth “Kenny” Roberson, Tacarlos “Los” Offerd, Christopher “C Thang” Thomas, and Marcus “Muwop” Smart

Unsettling footage from the aftermath shows Duck slumped over on his back unable to move as a lady cries out for assistance. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died as a result of numerous gunshot wounds.

Pertaining to the motive for FBG Duck’s murder, prosecutors claim in court that the suspects committed the crime “for the purpose of maintaining and increasing position in O-Block, an enterprise engaged in racketeering activity, and did knowingly commit the murder of the person known as Carlton Weekly, a/k/a “FBG Duck,”.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the local drill scene is a major source of concern for the city’s residents. Agents organized a news conference on Thursday (October 14) to address the violence that has engulfed the Windy City and placed the blame on the type of music (Drill) that is popular in Chicago.
