Dr. Dre has been putting work lately.
Dr. Dre is releasing new music in the near future.
The rap legend has unveiled his first project in more than six years, a joint album with Marsha Ambrosius titled Casablanco. Casablanco is the name of the record. With the help of his 6 million Instagram followers, he announced the news by sharing a photo from the studio with an orchestra in the background.
“I’ve just completed recording an album with Marsha Ambrosius, which I’m very excited about. My favorite part of ‘Casablanco’ was the dancing!” Dre wrote a letter. “This is some of my greatest work!!” says the artist. “I recently completed recording an album with Dr. Dre called ‘Casablanco,'” the former Floetry diva said, adding, “I’m a former Floetry songstress.” I had an absolutely fantastic experience!! “This is some of my most accomplished work!!!”
Since the release of Compton in 2015, Dre has not released a new body of work. Compton was inspired by the documentary Straight Outta Compton, which followed the life of N.W.A. Marsha and he had already collaborated on tracks for the record prior to this.
Besides Casablanca, Dre has contributed new music to Grand Theft Auto Online: The Contract, which will be released on December 15 and features a collaboration with Eminem, among other artists.
