DJ Quicksilva Earns a Spot on the Ben’s Chili Bowl Wall of Fame

Ben’s Chili Bowl, a Washington, DC landmark, recently paid tribute to Dj QuickSilva, one of the city’s most beloved DJs. Ben’s Chili Bowl on U Street in northwest Washington, DC, has a Wall of Fame, and Roberto “DJ Quicksilva” Silva’s portrait is included there.

QuickSilva is a successful businessman with a global reputation as “The Party Kingpin.” QuickSilva has gone from a local club Dj to a 5 pm drive Dj to one of the youngest morning show hosts to being syndicated in over 10 cities.

Dj QuickSilva has two Global Spin Awards, was voted by the MixShow Power Summit as East Coast #1, and has been ranked DC #1 for the past two decades.

You may recognize him as the official DJ for international tours for artists like Jay Z, 50 Cent, Lil Mo, Fabolous, Missy, and Busta Rhymes, and as the DJ for the popular television show 106 & Park. Currently, you can catch him on TV every Saturday at 9 pm on Love & Marriage DC on Own Network, and you can listen to him every day on his nationally syndicated radio show The QuickSilvaShow (QuickSilvaShow.com) from 3-7p.

Who is QuickSilva, a documentary series directed by Abeni Nazeer, is set to premiere today. Anyone who thinks they are familiar with QuickSilva will soon learn they have no understanding of the struggles he has overcome to be where he is now.
